Wareguest has just released a new interface for its PMS InovGuest. This scanning interface improves the efficiency of your hotel’s check-in procedure, simplifying and reducing its costs.
Wareguest understands the hotel management needs, showing once again signs of innovation and always chasing the best and more practical solutions. Wareguest stands out in the market as the first Portuguese company in the field offering an automatic scanning and reading solution for passports and ID cards.
Main benefits of this new module:
- Time saving – avoids manual writing and register of the information, speeding up check-in procedures;
- Costs saving – photocopies are no longer required, saving time and money;
- Space saving – no more need to keep a paper archive for this information;
- Data quality improvement – reservation database and kardex is now more reliable and accurate. Apart from having all the information available, it prevents writing errors;
- Better communication with Immigration and Borders Services – avoids resending data to Immigration and Borders Services due to incorrect or incomplete information;
- Better security – client data are stored only on the software’s database and not on a physical archive or manually filled-in forms;
- More satisfied customers – decreases waiting time on check-in.
Scanner operating mode:
- Reads the document;
- Compares the document with the database of passports and other ID cards from all geographic regions;
- Identifies the document and exports data into InovGuest.
Which is the interaction with InovGuest:
- Data can be read from the scanner directly into:
- A reservation holder;
- Accompanying persons on a reservation;
- A customer’s kardex.
- Data can be read directly from a reservation checklist, performing all three operations simultaneously: searching for the reservation, filling in the data and checking in;
- Automatic search of kardex´s of clients with the same identification (creating then a more accurate database without repetitions).
